The U.S Treasury issued Notes payable in either Silver or Gold coin.
Displayed is an original large size certified (VF 30) 1891 $1 Stanton Treasury Coin Note elaborately housed with an original certified 1891 MS64 $1 Morgan Silver Dollar. Both are sealed by grading services for authenticity and protection. The Note was issued by the U.S Treasury,which was redeemable in either Silver or Gold Coin.
The display features a copy of the act on watermarked paper featuring the seal of congress. Includes a custom digitally printed metal plaque depicting a copy of the reverse side of the note in the background. The plaque details the rights and powers of the act.
