    New to Miles Franklin (less than one year), you are very articulate Mr. Hoffmam. You definitely have some depth to your analysis. I have traded gold for over 35 years….and I know blah, blah, blah when I hear it…and you ARE NOT that person.

    p.s. My trading system has a confirmation “buy” in gold. A new high close in silver (two weeks), also confirms silver has bottomed.

    I look forward to your Thursday updates. Thank you for them.

    If I were Swiss I would be voting “YES” especially because of the low gold price as the country could acquire lots of gold at fire sale prices.

    I believe the Swiss are a proud people and are tired of the ponzi scheme!

    Andy,

    I need your help with something. I know that you don’t think crude is manipulated but trust me it is just like most markets that can be controlled with paper and HFT. But anyway I use Net Dania to watch Au and Ag as well as WTI and Brent. What I have noticed is big moves in crude on almost no volume and wondered what could cause that. Are they using an OTC derivative to push the price around or what. I mean I see the attacks on Au and Ag but the volume tells the story but on crude I continue to see huge moves down on no volume. Thanks for your help and all the great work you do.

      Don,

      I didn’t say oil is not manipulated. EVERYTHING is, and oil even has its own, OVERT Cartel.

      However, it is not manipulated to the same extent, and certainly not a “national security” matter like the suppression of PMs.

      As for “how,” it’s all the same BS. Naked shorting, derivatives, etc.
