A majority of my readers don’t read Andy Hoffman’s Newsletter, which is published later in the day.  He is very bright and insightful and another of Miles Franklin’s great asset here.  We present Andy Hoffman every day, in addition to our regular Miles Franklin Newsletter that I put together.  So much great information, all in one place and it’s free!

Below are a few excerpts from Andy Hoffman that are in his Monday Newsletter.  You should get to know him.

Here is what I consider to be the most important information in todays daily.  Be sure and read the GEAB article below – which is in complete agreement with Sinclair’s following commentary below:
Jim Sinclair’s Commentary
The time is coming.

On an annual basis, bullion is down 2.6 standard deviations, which is the worst reading over the past 10 years.
Jim Sinclair’s Commentary
The world of finance is dark, very dark, and will collapse again very soon. The Second US economic collapse will come before 2013 is out.
In truth the recovery was all contrived.

You see, it’s not only the bullion dealers who think now is the time to buy gold (and silver, which may be an even better buy).  Now is the time to go to safety and the price is unrealistically LOW…..

Let’s forget the markets for a moment and switch to a subject closer to my heart.  I have been busy visiting my favorite Jazz Joint, The Dakota, where we have a table up against the stage.  Earlier this month I took a friend to see Grammy-winning South African musician, Hugh Masekela with Larry Willis.  Last night I took Susan, my son Andy and Johnny Herbert, one of our Miles Franklin brokers to see David Murray and Macy Gray.  Macy has sold over 14 million records!  Very unusual to catch that kind of talent in a small intimate club.  It’s very special to be so up-front and close to legendary performers.  This is not like going to an auditorium or large hall – it’s much, much more intimate!  The Dakota is probably the most unique club in America.  We are lucky to have it here in Minneapolis.

In two months, one of my all-time favorite rock icons will be here… Leon Russell.  I still remember his Mad Dogs and Englishmen tour with Joe Cocker in 1970. Leon was elected into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2011.  This is one event I really look forward to.  We’ll make it a two-generation event – I’m taking my son and daughter and their spouses to hear this legend.  He’s getting old now, and walks with a cane.  I suspect his traveling and performing days are winding down.
